Hello,

from our CEO

Fieona Farrier-Twist

2024 so far has been a whirlwind and we all look forward with optimism to the sunshine and brighter days that are starting to make an appearance here in Hastings & Rother.

It is common knowledge that services countrywide are facing cuts, and as a result more and more people are seeking help and support from charities. As demand increases, charities now have increased pressure to fundraise - ensuring their mission can continue successfully and be future-proof.

While HRVAB have always had to be consistently busy fundraising, this season we have been particularly focused and driven making future plans and forming connections. We plan to not only deliver but expand the support and services we provide!

Our charity would severely struggle without our amazing volunteers - from Coral running eBay, Angela and her team in the Silverhill shop, to Jane and her team running the Tuesday Club. Thank you! We can not thank you enough for your commitment and dedication.

We hope all members can continue to support our fundraising events and help us go from strength to strength. If you have a fundraising idea, or want to get involved, please do let us know! Be sure to visit our website, and follow our social media to keep up to date.

Fieona Farrier-Twist, CEO HRVAB
