What to expect:

Expert Guidance: Learn from the best in the business! Renowned local musician and drumming instructor, Phil Little, will lead the workshops, sharing his wealth of experience and passion for percussion. An extremely versatile performer and recording artist Phil has been playing drums for over fifty years. His musical tastes range from jazz fusion to samba and African drumming and he is a Veteran of London Pub Rock.  He was most recently performing and recording with The Rhythm Section and releases his own music which is available on Spotify and all streaming platforms.  You will be learning on congas, djembe, bongos and more. Bring your own drums if you like but don’t worry we have plenty!

Musical Inspiration: Joining Phil is local talented singer, Linn Davies from the Inner Vision Orchestra, who will serve as an assistant coach. Together, they will create a friendly and inclusive environment to help you discover your musical talents.

Build a Friendly Drumming Band: Through weekly sessions you will develop a rhythm band together and create something truly amazing.

Performance Showcase: In the final week, we'll celebrate your progress with a special performance for your family and friends. Showcase your newfound drumming skills and experience the thrill of performing in front of a friendly audience!

Fun and social: The break during the workshops will be a time to relax and socialize with a cold drink or a cup of tea and a biscuit and lots of chat.

Easy Transportation: We want to make attending our workshops as convenient as possible. Meet and greet will be available from St Leonards Warrior Square, courtesy of the HRVAB mini bus.

All instructors and volunteers are DBS checked and volunteers also have sighted guide training so you can relax and enjoy the music!
